RACE DAY!!
Today we went 2 rounds of:
In heats...
100 RACE from a dive- get time
BROKEN 100 from a dive (25/50/25, all @ :10 rest)- faster than 1st 100
75 kick FAST for time w/boards (from a push)- faster than Broken 100
1st round is primary stroke, 2nd round is your choice
8-10 minute warmdown after each round, then work on starts before you go.
DISTANCE/ISCA/CoGr-
After Meet Warmup (plus whatever you need to feel ready)...
5 x 300 @ 6:00 swim- BEST AVERAGE (okay to loosen up between swims)
(STROKE Group- go 4 x 200's on same interval, broken at 75/50/75- :20 rest)
Wear your mask all the way to the car, do an excellent job in school today- and with your DRYLANDS! Get excited to race this weekend, and check the website for schedule changes due to the meets. Have a great day!
